Love the podcast. Can’t wait for this and fapcast.
Did 5cm per second, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and A Time of Eve ever made into the Oscars? Seems like the kind of movies that would have a shot.
Sakurasou is being consistently good, and I am too abit annoyed by Aoyama, but its my hope that JC Staff is trying to pull a Toradora and develop her into an endearing character AKA Kawashima.
I really don’t get Saki to see why it would sweep Saimoe this year, but I am hoping that the rookie female detective on Psycho-pass would at least breaking into top 16 next year. Moe in my dark brooding production? Win!
1 billion yen revenue is really that much if you put it to perspective…. its at best 20million USD, and most crappy romance movies that hollywood churns out do pull in that much revenue at least.
I really hope you guys expand Win-Pass-Fail to a minute a round, more time for you guys to discuss the topics and for us to listen to your melodic voices. I would also recommend you guys put in a 30 second warning with a different sound byte from the assistant (for your 5 minute sections) so that you guys get a heads up on when to wrap up.
Hey Kevo, hey Akira, I really dig the whole concept of your show and think it’s great that you do so much in so little time.
But about the blu-ray ranking… it’s all actually relative. In weekly rankings, sure, strike witches is just barely above AKBnumbersnumbersnumbers, but in the week before that, it sold over 30.000 copies, SOA is also coming very close to that number. So in total sales, those to blow the competition out of the water, since said competition is just lurking around at just 3000 sales or less during the premiere week.
For comparison, Fate/Zero, also known as the latest best thing ever, had 41.000 copies sold in it’s first week.
Been waiting for this, good jub guys.
